The 566' slow downhill drive going left to right is one of the signature holes on the Fontana course. There are many groupings of trees which create 2-3 "rooms" to try and make it to for a clean approach. A main road is on the left side. And a stream with some vegetation is along the right.
This approach from the first major "room" shows many more trees to negotiate. And the streambed flowing along the right side into the middle of the fairway. The pin sits in the distance, near the road.
Looking back up the fairway from the basket on #16 gives a different perspective on the various challenges on the hole. Carding a 3 or 4 is a solid effort on this defining hole.
